I hope that someone in charge reads this! Dogs are not good to have around the general public all the time! The fact that a lot of people have certain issues with dogs, they need to be the priority! The customers coming there to shop need to come first. Not someone’s dog.
I think this is absolutely terrible! I’m so tired of dogs being allowed (it seems like) in every business store around! My little girl is allergic to dogs (like a lot of people are) and breaks out in hives accompanied by cracked sore skin if they even get near her! From my experience most dog owners are completely irresponsible with their dogs. Thinking that everyone else wants their dog coming up to them so that person can pet them. No thanks and keep your dog to yourself so I don’t have to watch my child cry because she is in pain! I don’t know how many times I’ve had to experience from an irresponsible dog owner (that doesn’t feel the need to keep their dog on a leash which is against the law when your in public) let their dog run up to us and the dog owner saying “she is a nice dog she just wants you to pet her!” I’m sitting their panicking trying to get in between the dog and my child. Anymore I let them know I’m angry and then have to tell them my daughter is allergic to dogs! Which is followed by “oh I’m sorry” Which they wouldn’t have to do if they kept their dog on a leash and kept the dog next to them.
The bottom line is they are just dogs! Not people, regardless of some people thinking they are! They aren’t!! You may feel that your dog is a member of your family which is great but you need to remember that they are NOT members of other people’s families! I feel like dogs have more rights than humans do which is Wrong!! It’s beginning to feel like I’m going to have to leave my child in the car to keep her safe so someone can bring their dog in the store which is backwards! It should be the other way around!! If you feel it’s necessary to bring your dog in any store keep them on a very short leash, only tiny dogs should be allowed, and keep them away from other people! My child will ALWAYS take precedence over your dog!!! Have some respect for the people around you because you aren’t going to know who has a medical condition or some other issue with your dog! They shouldn’t have to worry about going into anaphylactic shock or for some other reason!!
Well Becky. I am sorry you feel that way but children also need to be contained. More times than I can count parents are shopping and have no idea where their kids are. Your complaint goes both ways.and I dislike screaming kids. People should take their child outside.

Any time my child screamed or got fussy- out the store we went. Kids are just as bad as dogs sometimes. Moral of the story- you can’t please everyone all the time. We’re headed to the hob lob right now with our German shepherd. All 60lbs of fluff and if she screams, I’ll be sure to remove her. 😉
